ElecFreaks ESP8266 Serial Wifi Module

The ElecFreaks ESP8266 Serial Wifi Module (EF03157) is a low-cost Wi-Fi module based on the ESP8266 chip. It needs very little supporting circuitry: it works over just two serial lines, TX and RX, so a microcontroller can add Wi-Fi over a serial connection. The ESP8266 has a built-in TCP/IP stack and a low-power 32-bit CPU that can also be used as an application processor.

Typical uses include smart home projects, wireless control, sensor networks and wearable electronics.
