The RPI GPIO Shield turns Raspberry Pi GPIO into the normally-used Arduino I/O interface. The shield not only maintains most of the Arduino UNO I/O interface, but it also expands IIC interface. The RPI GPIO Shield has all the UNO I/O features, which can be used to drive LED, sensors, LCD and other electronic modules and components.

- Bidirectional level translator (TXS0108E) converts automatically between 3.3V for the Raspberry Pi and 5V for Arduino

- Size: 60.24 x 48.36 mm, the same form factor as the Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi header pins marked DNC are not connected. When fitting the shield, make sure its pins line up with the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
