Magic Gears uses the bright macaron, Morandi inspired colour system of the Junior Engineer series. There are 32 different models to build, centred on themes including airplanes, trains and trolleys.
The set guides children through basic mechanisms by identifying parts and showing how they are applied. By using gears of different sizes, children come to understand the principles of transmission and get a basic understanding of ratios.
