An adjustable step-down (buck) converter module based on the LM2596, for reducing a higher DC voltage, such as a 12V adapter or a battery, to a lower regulated voltage, such as 5V for USB devices. A 3-digit 7-segment display shows the input or output voltage (switched with a push button), so the output can be set without a multimeter.
