The Octopus 5mm LED, along with breakout boards, as well as ambient light sensors, can be combined and used in interactive light work. When the LED light module is connected to a micro:controller, the digital pin is used to control the light output. The brightness of the LED can also be controlled via Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).
