The official Case for Raspberry Pi 5 is a refinement of the Raspberry Pi 4 case, with improved thermal features to support the higher peak power consumption of Raspberry Pi 5. It is a clip-together four-part enclosure with an integrated variable-speed fan, powered and controlled from a dedicated connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB. The case is available in Raspberry Pi’s signature red/white colour scheme.
Features
- Temperature-controlled cooling fan that connects to the Raspberry Pi 5 fan connector
- 12 × 17 × 4 mm heatsink with a self-adhesive pad to improve heat transfer from the processor
- Easily removable lid that exposes the fan and gives a slot for cables and GPIO access
- Built-in features for stacking cases
- HATs can be mounted using standoffs and GPIO header extenders (sold separately)
- Four silicone feet included
